MALANG – The hard work of the Task Force (Satgas) for the 126th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) under Kodim 0818/Malang-Batu, together with local residents, is now showing real results.
The concrete road paving project, which is one of the main physical targets, has reached 50% completion, and part of it is already usable—bringing smiles of joy to the residents of Dusun Sukamaju B, Lebakharjo Village, Ampelgading District, Malang Regency.
The road, which was once just dirt and difficult to pass through, has now transformed into a smooth and sturdy concrete path. This improvement has significantly accelerated and facilitated residents’ mobility, especially for farmers transporting their crops. The positive impact is particularly felt during the rainy season, which used to paralyze economic activities.
“Alhamdulillah, this road can now be used. In the past, it was so difficult to carry harvests—we sometimes had to push the motorbike through the mud. Now, it feels like having our own toll road in the village,” said Pak Minah, a local farmer, with a face full of gratitude.
Behind this 50% progress lies a warm portrait of unity between the TNI and the people. Every mixture of cement and every square meter of road built is the product of boundless gotong royong (mutual cooperation).
The soldiers of the TMMD Task Force do not merely work—they live and blend with the community, creating emotional bonds even stronger than the concrete itself.
This halfway milestone stands as proof that the 126th TMMD program in Lebakharjo is truly bringing real change. The concrete road will serve as a small yet meaningful legacy—a foundation of infrastructure that accelerates the pace of welfare and strengthens the economic resilience of the people of Dusun Sukamaju B.
